Regression

I am exhausted. Sophia has been waking up every night for about an hour. Last night I just couldn't do it, and I asked Jeff to take her. She always wants a bottle. This has made me think she's not eating enough during the day, so I've increased the amount of solids she's been eating but that didn't seem to make a difference. I miss a good nights sleep and I have no idea why this is happening. I've been reading Wonder Weeks. It says that her glucose metabolism is now kicking in but what that means..I've no idea (must research!). Have any of you other moms gone through this? At 3.5 months Sophia was sleeping through the night..seriously. She was sleeping about 12 - 14 hours p/night! And then teething started and that ended (mourning!).
I know this won't last forever - I'm praying it doesn't, anyway. It's just hard to keep that in mind when you're living through it at the moment!

My darling Addie didn't start sleeping the night until she was 9 1/2 months old!!! Seriously. Since she was born, I have only had 2...yes 2 nights of sleep. She always wanted to wake up to nurse. But finally, at almost 10 months, I did partial cry it out and she has been sleeping the night ever since. That is, until she got this silly cold!! I don't know much about the glucose metabolism thing (let me know if you do research) but maybe she is just having an off night or two because she is going through a growth spurt. I know this is always the excuse, but my doc did say that every time Addie reaches a new milestone, she may have trouble sleeping. Who knows. These babies sure keep us on our toes don't they?!!

If Soph is like Addie, I've got another 3 weeks of this!

I can't find much on the glucose metabolism thing unfortunately. I'll have to ask my husband about it.

I think Soph is teething (there's lots of drool)..but it's never caused her to wake this much before so I can't help but think something else is going on too. I need a baby manual!
